Service catalogues, service topologies, and service structure models

AixBOMS Business Service Management has set itself the task of mapping complex service relationships with the existing in the CMDB integrating existing technical infrastructure information and master data. Furthermore, planning, creating, modifying, and handing over service structures and networks to various monitoring consoles (BSM or SIEM) is significantly simplified using this application. Using a standardised template and status model, both mass services (administer once, use n times) and complex multi-hierarchical service structures can be predefined and used for duplication.

Graphical top-down and impact analyses for identifying problem causes or effects

Analysis tools allow the individual components of a service to be broken down using top-down analysis (Hierarchy Editor), while impact analysis (Impact Editor) shows the aggregation of services and the impact in detail. Relationships between individual elements are further specified and prioritised, such as „does not run without” or „is redundant to”. The transparency created in this way allows you, for example, to identify the necessary course of action in the event of a fault and thus contributes to the quality assurance of your business processes.
