AixBOMS customers can, if they wish, operate their own development environment to adapt AixBOMS independently or for specific needs. The prerequisite for this is the use of their own Development server.
AixBOMS Repository Designer
The AixBOMS Repository Designer allows access to the AixBOMS query and data model. This enables the customer to develop their own models, which in turn form the basis for specific screen and report designs. Through activities and function calls via script, their own functional modules can finally be realised.
AixBOMS Report Designer
The AixBOMS Report Designer provides elements and views from the underlying BIRT reporting tool. This allows custom analyses, reports, and interface elements to be created and defined for clear presentation and analysis.
AixBOMS Scripting
With a scripting API, custom function blocks and modules can be developed and programmed. The basis is the script language and engine based on „groovy“ (and a successor in 2020). With the overall package „Development Suite“, any customisations to the AixBOMS environment can therefore be carried out and implemented without manufacturer support.
