AixBOMS Cable Management: Extension for Pipe and Route Management

With „AixBOMS Multi-Pipe Management,“ we expanded our extensive list of special functions in the area of cable management to include blowing and empty pipe systems in 2018. As the latest sub-module, we can now offer all customers „Multi-Pipe Management“ for the planning, documentation, and management of empty pipe systems (route and path management). Together with our cooperation partner DATEC Networks a clear and easy-to-use tool has been created, with which, among other things, DATEC products can be easily documented and managed in AixBOMS with their special features.

Special submodule

“With our new „Multi-Pipe Management“ sub-module, we perfectly complement our existing software-based cable management and route planning solution. Multi-pipes and blowing systems significantly simplify the installation of fibre optic cables in buildings and on terrain. All customers of our partner DATEC-Netze will thus receive a pre-configured software solution for managing their route systems, including a product library and product configuration, an overview map function, and route finding for quick and uncomplicated onboarding.“

Route search

In addition to the general mapping of networked pipe systems, occupancy information of individual connections, and transition point configuration, graphical searching and determination of a path from a start to a target point are integral components. This allows switching orders to be easily pre-planned, released, and subsequently updated in the documentation.
