We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of our Infrastructure Management Centre, AixBOMS IX v9.3, to be able to announce.
„Many of our enterprise and public sector clients appreciate AixBOM's secure „on-premise“ solution. Nevertheless, we have decided to increasingly focus strategically on cloud presence in the future. This aligns with our customers' desire for a simplified operating and update situation for our software.
Our efforts for the current product release are already focused on this long-term solution. The application developments of recent years, such as 3D models, map functionalities, etc., can be run equally on the web client and the desktop client, and ultimately also on our mobile clients. It does not matter whether the AixBOMS server is operated directly at the customer's site or in the provider's data centre.
Each client variant offers its very own advantages. For example, the desktop client still masters operating variants such as multi-monitor and interactive multi-window operation, and transactional behaviour that the other technologies simply cannot provide. In this way, we create a rich variety from which the customer can choose.“, so AixpertSoft managing director Holger Nickel.
The new product release bundles field-tested developments in the areas of technical Configuration and Service Management, Data Centre Management, and Network and System Management, and further enhances these with flexibility and more customisation options for the customer. For example, data models can be extended at the front end without additional code, without needing to restart the server or carry out development with the GUI (so-called „Flex Objects“).
Visualisation techniques, such as 3D models, editors and assistants, have also undergone fundamental enhancements and redesigns to meet the highest standards – our own and those of our clients.
The current release is rounded off by new integration modules for ServiceNow, Consistec Service and Security Monitoring and Icinga2, online libraries for the REST interface, and a series of new (sub)modules.
