On 30.11.2020, we successfully Service Pack 3 our AixBOMS IX series released.

At the same time, a new naming scheme introduced for our patches to increase readability and thus simplify the installation process. For example, the name of the current service pack for the AixBOMS Admin tool is 9.3_SP3-ADM.

With the SP3 release, we are also presenting our brand new AixBOMS Web Client In a beta version, our customers can explore its numerous features and test its agile usability.

During the development work, we paid particular attention to

• Dynamic – the language and application can be switched in the running client
• Customisability – the user has different themes available
• Progressiveness – all current browsers are supported

In the new web client, much can be recognised from our „power tool“ AixBOMS Navigator – however, in contrast to it, it has the lightness of an app.

We anticipate that our new web client will quickly establish itself as the flagship client for our customers. Its final release is currently scheduled for spring 2021.
