By implementing an energy management system (EnMS) in accordance with the internationally recognised standard DIN EN ISO 50001, companies of all sizes can sustainably increase their energy efficiency. Companies can apply for funding for the implementation of an energy management system from the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA).

Eligibility includes, in particular, the purchase, installation, and commissioning of:

• of software solutions that support an energy or environmental management system (energy management software).
• from sensors and analogue-to-digital converters for the acquisition of energy flows and other energy consumption-relevant quantities, in order to integrate them into the energy or environmental management system.
• of control and regulation techniques for the optimisation of systems and processes, provided that the primary purpose is to reduce energy consumption.

All eligible software solutions are listed by the BAFA in a list. List of eligible energy management softwareTo be included on the list, the software must be capable of supporting the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. This includes, but is not limited to, the complete mapping of processes and data processing from operations, as well as the control and evaluation of relevant operational parameters.

This means our software meets all the requirements to enable funding from the BAFA as part of Module 3 „MSR, Sensor Technology and Energy Management Software.“.
