On 28 March 2019, with the Forum at the Castle the first event of its kind successfully concluded. On this day, the consistec GmbH As organisers, we brought together numerous experts and interested parties from the IT security community, and against a historic backdrop, they not only identified futuristic problems but also discussed their potential solutions.

After the event was opened by the keynote speaker Professor Dr Michael Backes, Founding Director and CEO of CISPA Helmholtz Centre for Information Security, gave the first keynote of the day. Under the title IT Infrastructure Management in Practice – Milestones of Development and Current Trends Did Holger Nickel M.A., Managing Director of AixpertSoft GmbH, talk about how the ongoing digitalisation of society requires IT infrastructures like cars require roads, and that the administration and management of these infrastructures is becoming more dynamic and complex?.

In addition to numerous other lectures by top speakers in the field, the accompanying exhibition, with its focus on software „Made in Germany,“ was also a complete success for all involved.

The integration of AixBOMS software with the consistec Caplon solution, as well as a virtual tour of a data centre using 3D glasses, attracted particular interest from forum visitors at the AixBOMS stand.
