I am very pleased to join BITKOM.
The exchange within the Federation of the Information, Telecommunications and New Media Industry offers an important platform for actively shaping topics such as data sovereignty, sustainability in data centres, and technological independence.
Especially in the context of EU data sovereignty, Green IT, and the further development of digital infrastructures, I consider close networking with industry, research, and politics to be essential. Dialogue at the association level creates the necessary depth and perspective here.
